Entering season two for the Pelham Prowlers, they continue to capitalize on their first-year success with continued growth in the North American Tier III Hockey League (NA3HL). The Prowlers have hired new Head Coach Kevin Kerr to run the team. Coach Kerr brings his experience of running programs at the junior and pro levels. The overall goal; continue to expand hockey in the Southeast United States to allow young hockey players more opportunities to develop their skills and advance their career.
The team was officially approved and announced March 13, 2025, by NA3HL.

The NA3HL is the only USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior league. It serves as one of the top training grounds in the country by providing the best coaching, exposure, and developmental vehicles available for student-athletes. The NA3HL advances more players to the NAHL, NCAA and ACHA than any other junior league of its kind.

Our philosophy is to focus on the players' needs first. We only sign and roster the maximum of 25 protected players to allow everyone a better rotation for real game experience. Through our partnerships, we focus on mind, body, and nutrition to maximize player potential. Fully vetted billets make sure the players feel as welcome and comfortable away from home as possible.

The Pelham Prowlers are excited to work with the Pelham Civic Complex & Ice Arena and call it home. The Pelham Civic Complex & Ice Area has two NHL-sized rinks, seating 4,100 and 500 respectively. The Ice Arena is home to the SPHL Birmingham Bulls, ACHA D1 & D3 University of Alabama, and the SYTHL Birmingham Junior Bulls.
